I read somewhere about it something about incorrect passing of measure. Have you patched the bet and undergo you any mod installed?
The original (unpatched) version of STALKER had something like a time-speedup macro hard-coded to some key. If you happened to config your keys and use it for something it does what you configed AND the speedup macro. It hit me as I used that key for my Crouch key. Was very disturbing to die in a minute or so!I think it may have been " * " or maybe " / " or " \ ". In any inspect whichever key it is you can press it again to get measure approve to normal. Also I am pretty sure the first patch fixed it (removed the macro hardcoding). Something like that,

Wow that is unfortunate you've managed to hit both the superfast starvation and the constant irradiation bug. I've had it once before and it's a right pain in the arse. I fixed it by modding the armour file to alter certain armours ridiculously rad resistant. Hardly a good workaround but it got the job done. You might want to try looking into mods to see if there's any that ordain fix this. I experience there are some bug-fixing mods about see if this is covered by any of them.
